Wolseley unveils new look Ironmongery Center

A Wolseley product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 1, 2010

Now part of the Wolseley group, the Ironmongery Center in Kirkcaldy has undergone a major refurbishment to provide a fresh layout and new product range.

Tom Gowans, branch manager, has run the branch on the Randolph Industrial estate for the past year and commented: "It was business as usual while the refurbishment took place and although it was a bit mad at times, the result has been worth all the effort in transforming what we used to have into a bright, modern, well-stocked store that can meet the demands of customers in the Kirkcaldy area".

Extensive new display systems mean a greater range of products are available for immediate purchase in-store and easier to find with clear signage and better labelling.

And to complement the new-look store, Mr Gowans is planning a range of promotions and special offers for customers, who range from general builders and joiners to kitchen fitters and contractors.

Ironmongery Centers is a specialist brand within the Wolseley group, and earlier this year launched its first new product guide, featuring more than 3,000 product lines.

All 11 Ironmongery Center branches in the UK have Guild of Architectural Ironmongery trained staff with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience as well as specialist staff on welding and locksmith services in selected branches.
