Triple level parking system for Liverpool Dock

A Wohr Parking Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Nov 14, 2006

Wohr has completed the installation of a three-level mechanical parking scheme for City Lofts Group's prestigious development at Liverpool's Princes Dock.

Specialist parking systems company, Wohr has completed the installation of a three-level mechanical parking scheme for City Lofts Group's prestigious development at Liverpool's Princes Dock.

The residential development, which features 162 one and two bedroom apartments, benefits from 69 parking spaces, provided by Wohr's Parklift 413 system.

A vertical stacking system, the Parklift 413 gives three levels of parking whilst allowing residents independent access to their own parking spaces.

Each unit is simply raised or lowered by turning a key in an adjacent control unit to access the required platform.

John Doherty, Marketing Manager at City Lofts, said: "As with many brownfield developments projects, space was at a premium at Princes Dock; yet it was essential that we provided individual parking spaces for each of the apartments.

"Having included Wohr's systems in previous developments, we knew that a mechanical parking solution would not only allow us to maximise the number of parking spaces, given the available area, but would also provide an additional sales feature for potential purchasers".

The Parklift 413 is one of a wide range of parking solutions from Wohr, ranging from vertical stacking to fully automatic, computer-controlled systems.

Products are suitable for residential, commercial and public sector developments.
