WAG on show at 'Sustainable London' exhibition
Working Architecture Group (WAG) have three current projects on show at the new 'Sustainable London' exhibition, located in the Building Centre, Store Street, London.
The actual bar is to be positioned between the two arches, so potentially the venue will be able to run two events, one in each arch, simultaneously.
The bar will also open out onto a new split-level garden.
The scheme, which is the next of many steps in the sustainable regeneration of this area, will use recycled materials where possible in the construction.

The roof collects rainwater for use in the bars' toilets, and there will also be solar collectors located on the roof and south-facing wall for heating and energy generation.
The gallery spaces will be curated by David Hees of the recycling arts collective Project 142.
WAG have designed the bar interior as a conceptual and literal scaffolding for art, which they describe in the plans as an 'ArtWall'.
This framework structure can be adjusted by the gallery and artists, changing and growing with use over time.
Jon Goodbun, director of WAG commented, "It is rewarding to work with an ideas driven client who has such a positive attitude to working with recycled materials, and providing a space for local artists".
"The design for the interior fit out of the bar is an interesting and changing assemblage of recycled objects, from old computer monitors to car tires, produced through a collaborative process, working with artists".
The scheme aims to integrate the experience of the architecture and physical space of the bar with a website / blog / chat and virtual art space through a wireless and Bluetooth active virtual communications and interface environment.
The bar also proposes to broadcast free broadband to the local public spaces, such as the nearby park, and will site virtual artworks there.
