Bristol-based homebuilders Woodstock Homes have been recognised for their commitment to their staff by being awarded Investors in People status at a ceremony held at Leigh Court, Bristol.

The prestigious award, presented by John Savage, Executive Chairman of Business West, is a culmination of over a year's work by all 15 members of the Woodstock Homes team and their mentor Lynne Bell from Business West.

Lynne said of the award, "The Investors in People Standard is designed to help businesses improve their productivity and performance through the management and development of their people".

"This award recognises the hard work of everyone at Woodstock Homes and is a credit to each one." Woodstock Homes were the only construction company to be recognised at the ceremony and have been building high quality homes in the South West for over 10 years.

Martin Newman, Managing Director of Woodstock Homes said, "I am delighted that we have secured Investors in People status and this is only part of our ongoing commitment to our staff who make Woodstock Homes the organisation it is".

"We believe that people are the building blocks of our company and we will continue to work hard to maintain the high standard demanded by Investors in People.".
