Ward Hadaway Gives Top Service
One of the construction industry's leading credit reference agencies has appointed Newcastle law firm Ward Hadaway to handle debt recovery work on a national basis.
Top Service, based in Redditch, Worcestershire, was recently voted the best construction industry credit reference agency by the Construction Plant Hire Association and will be introducing Ward Hadaway to their customer base of almost 3,000 businesses throughout the UK It is expected that the agreement will increase the volume of court procedures brought by the Ward Hadaway's commercial collection team by more than 50 per week - representing an annual collection figure of £8.4m

Collection Services Manager Andrew Charlton, who has 15 years experience in debt recovery, will lead the Ward Hadaway team.
A member of the Institute of Credit Management and the Civil Court Users Association, Andrew is also Treasurer to the North East Discussion Forum of the Money Advice Liaison Group, an organisation that seeks to represent best practice amongst creditors and money advice workers.
He was one of the first members of a law firm to pass the Credit Services Association Diploma in Debt Recovery.
"Debt can be a huge problem for businesses and - if it isn't managed correctly - can mean the difference between success and failure, no matter what the size of the business," said Andrew.
