Yorkshire Fittings has launched Tectite Sprint, a range of heat-free push-fit fittings for use in domestic and commercial potable water applications, heating and chilled water systems.

The launch marks Yorkshire Fittings' latest and most important addition to the established Tectite heat-free push-fit range, providing users with additional choice and flexibility.

Tectite Sprint fittings are compatible with copper tube to BS EN 1057, Tectite-PEX, and other PB and PEX plastic pipes to BS 7291 Parts 2 and 3.

Manufactured from copper or DZR brass, fittings are available in sizes from 10mm to 28mm.

Tectite Sprint is an ideal product for contractors and installers in the replacement, repair, maintenance and improvement sector, as well as in the domestic new-build market.

It's slim-line appearance and simple tool-free jointing action makes it particularly suited to installation in confined spaces.

In common with other Tectite products, Tectite Sprint fittings joint tube or pipe using a simple and fast push action, with an integral metal grab ring maintaining the joint's integrity.

Fittings are guaranteed for 25 years as standard, and for 30 years when installed as a System with recommended pipes and tubes.

Tectite Sprint has been designed and developed at Yorkshire Fittings' headquarters in Leeds, and reinforces the Company's commitment to UK innovation.

The manufacturing programme centres around a multi-million pound investment in the Leeds site, and also includes developments in Yorkshire Fittings' Dundee factory.

This ensures the Company will continue to lead the way in UK manufacture of copper and copper alloy plumbing and heating fittings.

Tectite Sprint is complemented by Tectite Classic, Tectite Pro and Tectite 316, which complete the Tectite push-fit range.

Tectite Classic is the original metal push-fit fitting in sizes from 10mm to 28mm, while Tectite Pro and Tectite 316 fittings in sizes from 15mm to 54mm offer electrical continuity, and connect copper and stainless steel tubes respectively.

As a range, Tectite is suited for applications as diverse as domestic repairs through to second-fix solutions on major mechanical contracts.
