New keyfob released for ZapKey lock

A ZapKey product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 18, 2007

Zapkey, supplier of wireless remote control locks for main access doors, has released a new keyfob for its locks.

Designed specifically to aid those with impaired mobility or increasing age, the new keyfob features two large operating buttons instead of the previous 3 small button design.

This sleek new keyfob not only opens and closes the lock from a distance of up to 30m inside or outside the home, it also controls the auto close function, whereby the locks can be set to close automatically after a predetermined period of time.

This is a useful feature for anyone with a tendency to forget to lock up on leaving home.
