Zenex patented flue gas heat recovery device

The independent organisation Waterwise has awarded Zenex Technologies the prestigious Waterwise Marque for the water savings that its patented GasSaver product delivers.

The Waterwise Marque, which is awarded annually to products which reduce water wastage, helps buyers make more informed decisions on which water saving products to purchase.

The Zenex GasSaver now joins the other 26 Waterwise approved products which are evaluated for their sustainable design, performance and availability in the UK.

Zenex Technologies developed its GasSaver device following research and independent tests that revealed there were significant efficiency improvements to be made in the performance of modern condensing boilers.

Its GasSaver is a unique boiler attachment that saves energy and enables a combi boiler to deliver hotter water faster helping to reduce cold lukewarm water wastage.

The device works by reclaiming normally wasted heat energy from the flue gases of condensing boilers and uses it to pre-heat domestic hot water (DHW) reducing both gas usage by up to 50 % and making annual savings of DHW of 5%.
