Zenex GasSaver gains Energy Saving Trust approval

EST recognises Zenex GasSaver under its Energy Saving Recommended scheme and established new product endorsement category - "Passive Flue Gas Heat Recovery Devices and Systems".

The GasSaver is a simple device that fits above the boiler and recovers heat from the flue gases.

It effectively condenses the steam in the gases and preheats the incoming cold main.

The heat normally lost from the most modern boilers can often be seen as plumes of steam or hot water vapour streaming from domestic boiler flues.

The GasSaver has been approved and recognised for its energy saving credentials after meeting the strict EST regulations which require that the product must be used with SEDBUK A rated boilers, be formally recognised under the Government's Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) Appendix Q for dwellings as Passive Flue Gas Heat Recovery Device, provide an average domestic hot water (DHW) energy saving of at least 17%, and be formally approved by CE certification.
