More evidence of growing export opportunities.
The Construction Products Association's latest state of trade survey shows that product manufacturers are seeing a significant rise in exports that is helping compensate for a more subdued home market. You can follow the link below to read more about this.
The Chartered Institute of Building [CIOB] report a record rise in overseas membership, especially from China. Ecobuild is also attracting an increasing numbers of buyers looking to source UK goods and services. They even have a special 'Meet International Buyers at Ecobuild' at this year's event.
Buildingtalk is a great international shop window for new products. We have some interesting ones highlighted this week including a lockable dowel for concrete from Ancon that cut down build time; a new energy efficient heating and ventilation solution from Jaga that impacts indoor air quality; and new lectric locks from Abloy UK.

The increase in export activity is helping off-set the subdued level of construction activity in the domestic market.

2. New Ancon Lockable Dowel at UK Concrete Show 2012
