Optima access control system specified to protect prestigious offices

  • 6 May 2016

Abloy UK’s Optima access control system has been specified to improve the security at Secure Access Technologies’ offices.

Secure Access Technologies was in the market for a wireless access control system, with an easy retrofit, to install into their offices. As their existing security system was hard-wired, the company was seeking to replace it with one that could be easily detached and moved if the business was to change premises.

The new system also had to provide security for another company, which Secure Access Technologies currently share their building with.

Abloy Optima was specified for the task. Offering standalone, single door control, Optima is an electronic handle set or escutcheon, which operates as a Master Keying system.

The system can fit to most types of doors or locks, as there is no wiring required. It can also be incorporated into existing access control systems, or retro-fit to standing mechanical lock cases.

Secure Access Technologies issued the installation of Abloy Optima on five doors: two in their own area, and three with shared access.
