Flexicon launch two new anti-static, liquid tight conduit systems, offering cable protection solutions. Emperor cable cleats specification was secured for Ellis by its Singapore distributor, Cables International, and will be installed in the central processing and living quarter platforms of the $2bn Zawtika Development offshore gas project off the coast of Myanmar. Ellis cable cleats secure electrical cables and provide ultimate corrosion protection, even in the harshest of environments and protect and cushion cables during short circuit conditions.
FFPAS flexible conduit and fittings donated by cable protection specialist Flexicon provided the right conduit to protect critical power and data cables as part of the restoration of the historic Pilgrim trawler in Brixham. This offered protection against hazards such as damp, vibration, condensation and salt corrosion as the FPAS system is well suited to this maritime environment having been tested to EN61373 Cat 2.
