SB18 LTX hammer drill/driver

Metabo introduces the latest hammer drill/driver model from the PowerMasterSeries of 18V lithium-ion cordless power tools.

The SB18 LTX hammer drill/driver is more compact in weight and size.

The power and battery capabilities make the tool suitable for rugged applications.

Hex spindle technology allows removal of the chuck and drive screws with the 1/4 inch hexagon recessed spindle using an accessory bit retainer.

The removable chuck gives offers maneuverability of the cordless tool in tight spaces, such as around joists or in assembly operations.

The tool also features an integral LED worklight for effective visibility in dark spaces.

Guided air flow ducting cools the battery pack during charging, shortening the charging process by 30 per cent and improving battery life.

The 18V 2.6 Ah Li-Power Extreme battery is incorporated as standard on the SB18 LTX.

The Electronic Single Cell Protection (ESCP) feature electronically monitors the battery's individual cells while in use and during charging to prevent damage.

A three year warranty offered by Metabo covers tools, batteries and chargers.

The SB18 LTX features a dual torque adjustment and in hammer drill mode, features a maximum of 28,000 impacts per minute.

Variospeed full-wave electronic speed control provides the ability to adjust the speed from the lowest to highest value.

The SB18 LTX tool uses aluminum die cast gear housing for optimum heat dissipation and increased durability.

The SB18 LTX offers a no-load speed of 0 rpm to 400 rpm in first gear and 0 rpm to 1,400 rpm in second gear.

The hammer drill/driver is equipped with a 1/2 inch chuck and has a drilling capacity of 1/2 inch in mild steel, 1/2 inch in concrete and 2 inches in wood.
