Polyflor’s Colonia Wood PUR vinyl tile flooring has achieved BES 6001 certification

The BES 6001 framework standard for Responsible Sourcing establishes requirements under the headings: Supply and Chain Management, Organisational Management and Environmental and Social Responsibility Management.

The product is awarded a performance rating to reflect its level of compliance with the requirements. Polyflor achieved a ‘Very Good’ rating.

The standard has given Polyflor environmental and social responsibility credentials to add to its list of existing certificates, which include FloorScore, EN 15804 EPDs and Recofloor.

The use of Polyflor products with BES 6001 certification can add to the available points in Materials section MAT 03 of a BREEAM Assessment.
