The UK paint manufacturer initially signed a deal to feature on the station’s 10pm bulletin from January 1, 2015, starting with the Crown Trade brand.
Sadolin and Sandtex will partner with Sky Sports News HQ and offer sporting competition prizes to viewers.
Sadolin and Sandtex will feature on Sky Sports News HQ throughout the summer, and will offer opportunities to win tickets to a variety of national sporting events throughout the year to celebrate the deal.
Masonry paint brand Sandtex has appeared on the channel for several years, and will continue with its popular lighthouse ident featuring the ‘results you can depend on’ slogan.
The sponsorship deal marks the first time premium woodcare brand Sadolin has featured on the popular sports news channel.
The deal will also extend to the Sky Sports website. Sadolin and Sandtex banner advertising will feature on SkySports.com and the Sky Sports mobile service – and competitions to win various sporting prizes will feature on the Sky Sports, Sandtex and Sadolin websites.
Sky Sports News HQ is must have TV for sports fans and it is the perfect platform to take our message to millions of people this summer, commented Sharon Smith, Brand Manager for both Sandtex Trade and Sadolin.
It’s a great opportunity to reach such a large-scale audience during the outdoor decorating season and to support the campaign with the chance to go to some of the UK’s greatest sporting events.
