  • 29 Aug 2017

The UK’s leading specialist in waterproofing technology has created a guide to help make the area of Basement Waterproofing clearer.

Safeguard Europe Three 2907

The publication, from Safeguard Europe, features an explanation of the four main basement types and the common waterproofing type that will suit each instance.

Also included are key design considerations, such as continuous linking between water proofing and damp-proof courses, drainage and their maintenance.

As well as this, details for contractors on how to get waterproofing right, with emphasis on how to protect below ground structures against water from the ground are all contained within it.

This outlines three types of waterproofing system and includes what type is best suited to a particular basement scenario.

The Basement System Packs available from Safeguard provide relevant legislative requirements for each basement type, drawings and clauses for both details and the complete system.
