SFS intec contributes specialist knowledge to specification report

  • 18 Aug 2017

SFS intec shares its extensive knowledge of the specification market in ‘What Specifiers Want’, a new report published by NBS.

‘What Specifiers Want’ offers advice and guidance for construction product manufacturers that are looking to, or currently, supply into the UK specification market. Based on the NBS Specification Survey, it provides the means for industry professionals to communicate their changing needs when it comes to specification writing.

The report shows that a large proportion of specifiers value having access to detailed, online information, and maintaining good relationships with manufacturers. NBS is using these findings to improve its tools and resources and adapt to industry changes.

‘What Specifiers Want’

SFS intec was exclusively asked to contribute its thoughts to the report. Drawing on the company’s three decades of experience working in conjunction with architects and building envelope contractors, UK Managing Director, David Wigglesworth (pictured above), provided an article for the report:

‘We believe this latest NBS report will be incredibly beneficial to anyone working in the specification market. The key findings of the survey resonate with our ethos and the way our support is structured: to help deliver better quality buildings and maximise client satisfaction.’

SFS intec strives to deliver expert technical support for building designers, via its UK Specification Team. The team works to provide a robust specification to ensure high envelope performance by writing NBS causes and providing BIM data.
