Mumford and Wood unveils Garden Rooms

Mumford & Wood

glass-houses, conservatories, orangeries

Mumford and Wood has launched the Garden Room collection of bespoke glass-houses, conservatories, orangeries and roof lanterns.

The collection enables customers to extend and coordinate their window and door specification to include the garden room range in either traditional or contemporary designs.

Products offer high specification of materials, effective thermal performance and a coordinated addition to new build projects and existing buildings.

Mumford and Wood offers BSI 'A-C' energy rated fenestration products that can achieve an overall frame U-value of 1.4 W/m.K which surpasses current Building Legislation and already reaches Code 4 level for Sustainable Homes 2013.

The bespoke collection of sash windows and casements made from premium, clear-grade laminated timber, can be incorporated into garden room designs complete with the attributes of BSI Kitemark and Energy Saving Trust accreditations.

Mumford and Wood casements and doorsets supplied as part of a garden room design are fitted with advanced multi-point espagnolette locking; alternatively a Secured by Design option is available on selected products.

A collection of complementary hardware completes the project, is guaranteed for 10 years and has been tested to meet strict performance criteria.

A Mumford and Wood garden room can be supplied stained or painted in a selection of gorgeous RAL colours.

A choice of glass and glazing options is available, including self-cleaning glass, and high performance sealed units that will reduce solar gain by up to 78 per cent.

Contemporary-styled garden rooms will benefit from the Mumford and Wood Alu-Clad composite frame which is low maintenance and versatile, and the Mumford and Wood Tilt-Turn range.
