Bison Rapid Response Quote System

A new Rapid Response System delivers faster quotes for Bison customers as part of significant changes taking place at the company.

Bison Manufacturing has introduced the new Rapid Response Quote (RRQ) system to improve the service levels it provides to customers for its Hollowcore and stair products.

The RRQ system delivers a rapid response to quotation requests from customers for flooring enquiries generally below 800m2 and allows them to receive a realistic price for their particular requirements at the earliest possible opportunity.

Our aim is to provide an industry leading quotation service," comments Bison Manufacturing General Manager John Rogerson.

"We have recently completed a major streamlining process that has created improvements in many areas of our business and the new RRQ system is just one of those improvements.

By simplifying some of the elements involved and changing the way we process the project information we can now provide a quote based on the information received, often in as little as 48 hours.

The system is primarily aimed at smaller projects and initial feedback received from potential customers who have received Bison Rapid Response Quotations has been very favourable with orders being won.

Quotations for larger projects are usually available within 1 - 2 weeks depending on their complexity, although even with these we are now flexible enough to try to provide them in a much shorter time scale if the customer requires it".

The move underlines a new approach to customer service which has been the driving force behind the many changes which have taken place within Bison.

"It is very much a reflection of the 'New Bison' approach which we have adopted," confirms John.

"The aim is to make Bison as well known for the responsive levels of service it provides to its customers as it already is for high levels of product quality.

We've been listening to, and responding to, our customers and the new RRQ system is a tangible result of that process".

The launch of the RRQ system comes shortly after Bison announced that it had moved its headquarters operation from Burton-on-Trent, into new premises adjacent to its modern manufacturing facility at Swadlincote in Derbyshire.
