SMARTair provides security update for retirement home

SMARTair wireless electronic access control as recently been utilised by a retirement home that was in need of a security, comfort and hygiene update.

unnamedWhen the owners of Toulouse’s Petites Soeurs des Pauvres retirement home decided that the site no longer met standards of security, comfort and hygiene, the old building was replaced with new premises while the structure’s original shape and historic chapel was retained.

SMARTair wireless electronic access control was specified, with SMARTair wireless electronic cylinder or escutcheon with built-in card reader installed on every door at the new site. SMARTair also controls access to lifts with wall readers installed on two. 

SMARTair credentials are easy to use and older residents who are more dependent can unlock doors easily with a bracelet or tag credentials. 

Moreover, it is easy to add, delete or update users or doors from the central system software at any time. Device management is via Update On Card, with a portable updater providing the link to the system. SMARTair has made the basic needs of access control and solves the problem of key replacement.
