SMARTair provides simplicity and security for care home

  • 4 May 2017

ASSA ABLOY provided a suitable wireless electronic access control solution for Les Residence Notre-Dame in Geneva, with simplicity and security.

SMARTair supports complex, individually tailored authorisations, every site user has access only to the appropriate areas. User profiles including staff, residents and visiting families can be easily accommodated.

You can delete or amend access rights remotely and immediately, which is particularly useful when using keycards or other SMARTair credentials. Instant reprogramming also enables care staff to address resident needs and to resolve incidents immediately.

New SMARTair escutcheons can be mounted directly onto the existing mechanical locks, making installation simple and keeping disruption to a minimum.

The system comes with wireless communications hubs and user-friendly SMARTair software in addition to SMARTair wireless cylinders, wall entry keypads, PINpad-equipped escutcheons, cabinet locks, energy saving devices, and safes also available.

SMARTair is particularly easy to use, enabling even vulnerable and non-technical users at Notre-Dame to work the access control system.

The access system responds successfully to residents needs and unexpected incidents in addition to being simple to use and providing high levels of security.
