Timber Expo will return as part of UK Construction Week in 2016 and will feature some of the timber industry’s biggest names including Steico, W Howard Group and Jagram.
Timber Expo will take place at the Birmingham NEC between the 18th and 20th October. Exhibitors will cover a wide range of timber applications including timber frame, sawmills, merchants, glulam, SIPs, CLT, fixings and fastenings, timber cladding, doors/windows, mouldings, skirting and flooring.
In 2015, the event attracted over 6,000 visitors, with 60% of the UK’s top 100 architectural firms represented. This year’s event will host the latest products, innovations and developments from across the sector.
TRADA will also lead an educational seminar programme, along with a discussion of key issues facing the industry.
Timber Expo will also sponsor the Innovation category at the TTJ Awards 2016. The Innovation Award will celebrate some of the most exciting new developments in the industry. This year it will be split into two sub-categories: Innovative Product Development and Innovative University Timber Research.
Those who attend Timber Expo will also have wider access to other events being held at UK Construction Week at the NEC, including Energy 2016, HVAC 2016 and Smart Buildings.
