Utilities supplier, GPS PE Pipe Systems is contributing to work on a €200m infrastructure project in France after supplying its polyethylene Push-Fast pipe and fitting system to the RTE (Reseau de transport d’electricite).
Contractors Vallectrics, working on a new student accommodation project for Glasgow University, specified Durapipe SuperFLO pipework to be installed to transport chilled water from the main water storage tanks in the basement and then distribute it throughout the building to each individual flat. Durapipe SuperFLO is lightweight, limescale and corrosion resistant. It eliminates the need for hot works and is easy to install.

The safe open air storage period of high performance Excel 3c polyethylene (PE) pipes, the complete clean bore solution from GPS PE Pipe Systems, have now been extended after independent tests demonstrated that they can be safely stored for 12 months without biological compromise. Excel 3c clean, capped, coiled pipes are chosen by UK’s water companies for speed of installation, cost and environmental advantages.
