Warm edge spacer bar manufacturer joins CAB

The Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) has welcomed SWISSPACER, the leading manufacturer of warm edge spacer bars, as its newest member.

Formed in 1998, SWISSPACER is part of Saint-Gobain Glass Solutions. The company has experienced significant growth in the UK over the past five years and in 2011 become the leading edge spacer bar brand.

Joining the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) will provide SWISSPACER with the opportunity to communicate the benefits of its warm edge spacer bars to a growing aluminium market.

Boasting over 100 members, CAB brings together consultants, fabricators. installers and systems companies from a cross the aluminium industry.

Justin Ratcliffe, Chief Executive of CAB, welcomed SWISSPACER to the group and commented: “It’s an exciting time for aluminium in the building sector. The latest CAB State of Market Survey for Q2 2015 indicates that 87% net balance of our members expect sales to increase over the next 12 months.

CAB itself continues to grow and we have been delighted to welcome a number of leading brands, including Swisspacer, into membership during 2015.”
