Water-based Polyurethane Flortred for floor protection

  • 24 Jul 2015

The water-based floor paint has been developed to match the durability and performance of an equivalent solvent-based floor paint, with the additional benefits of low odour properties and faster drying time.

The Quick Dry Polyurethane Flortred is able to withstand wear, scratches, oil and grease spillages, as well as boasting excellent hot tyre resistance.

Interior and exterior use

The paint is suited for interior use in light and medium traffic areas, such as domestic floors, commercial facilities and light use factories and warehouses.

It has also been developed for exterior use, proving effective for highlighting walkways, car park spaces and small areas such as balconies.

Floor Protection System

The product is used as part of the Johnstone’s Floor Protection System, while areas to be painted can be prepared with Johnstone’s Cleaner & Degreaser.

The slip resistance rating can be improved with the addition of the Johnstone’s Anti-Slip Additive.

The floor paint can also be tinted in over 16,000 colours, making it suitable for almost any application.
