Security expert Abloy UK has created a new role within its Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) division, appointing Jenny Littlewood as CNI Market Development Manager for the area of Communications.
Jenny brings a wealth of experience to the role, having studied at Lancaster University and previously worked within other prominent companies in the security sector for more than two decades.
Prior to joining the Abloy team, Jenny spent many years working for Stanley Security Products, where access control was a major aspect of her role.
This vast knowledge has given her an excellent foundation, and she will utilise skills within this field to engage with Professional End Users.
Jenny’s specialism includes being able to specify bespoke access control solutions – such as PROTEC2 CLIQ® – for organisations in the communications arena, which can be delivered efficiently and offer a number of additional benefits alongside those of high quality and high security.
Jenny commented: “Communications are a growing sector in CNI, and the introduction of 5G this year in major cities throughout the UK means there is no better time for Abloy to develop and nurture relationships in this sector.
“The importance of security is paramount within communications – as it is with all aspects of CNI. Providers cannot afford the impact of downtime affecting their reputation, and continuation of services is vital to keep the country running.”
Aaron Yule, MD of Abloy UK, added: “Jenny’s appointment reaffirms Abloy’s commitment to maintaining its market-leading position supplying high-security solutions to CNI organisations and evolving our offering within the marketplace along with developing business needs.
“We’re really pleased to have Jenny on board and look forward to utilising her skills and knowledge to better serve our clients within the communications industry.”
