Abloy UK has announced the appointment of Stephen Elliott as its Regional Sales Manager for the South West to bolster the brands presence and increase sales.
Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, having previously worked as a Secure Project Manager for architectural ironmonger Allgood PLC, where Stephen provided bespoke solutions that combine aesthetics and access control solutions. Following this, he honed his craft of sales at Blue Circle Security and industrial manufacturer Ingersoll Rand.
Before his appointment, Stephen also provided Regional Sales for SimonsVoss, suppliers of digital locking systems and Stanley Security, access control systems for businesses and locksmiths.
Stephen comments on his new role: “It’s my responsibility to provide installers, locksmiths and end-users alike with Abloy products, and the knowledge to utilise these systems to their full potential. Compliance should be at the front of mind when securing a door, a building or choosing an access control solution. My goal is to ensure that compliance continues to be associated with Abloy.
“I want to raise the awareness of the risks involved in specifying non-compliant products that could result in information being breached, assets compromised or in extreme cases such as fire, even loss of life. Abloy leads the way in innovation and my aim is to ensure our products are installed correctly to minimise these risks.
“Digital technology is now integrated into infrastructure, providing far more than just physical security, and I hope to enlighten customers in the South West with the benefits Abloy products can offer.”
Pat Jefferies, Commercial Director, Abloy UK added: “Stephen’s appointment is a great addition to our growing team of specialists and will prove integral to expanding Abloy’s presence as market-leaders. It’s of great importance that we have industry experts, such as Stephen, providing in-depth knowledge and importantly the impact our products can have on safety and security.
“We welcome Stephen to the team and look forward to utilising his expertise and further developing trust in our products in the South West.”
