Aggregate Industries is pleased to announce that it’s innovative sales support platform has been recognised by the Institute of Sales Management’s British Excellence in Sales Management Awards as the Sales Support Team of the Year!
Aggregate’s innovative sales support platform in its Regional Customer Centres (RCCs) provides a strong foundation to develop the business’ performance in terms of both sales and customer experience.
Regional Customer Centres were introduced to the Aggregate Industries business to better understand and service customers’ needs with a primary objective to make doing business as easy as possible.
The RCCs also allow for greater collaboration across all of Aggregate Industries’ business divisions, enabling customers to secure complete product solutions for entire projects.
Aggregate Industries’ hard work was truly recognised as finalists in three categories; Sales Support Team of the Year, Sales Employer of the Year and Sales Manager of the Year.
The BESMA Awards aim to identify and reward the outstanding expertise, talent and achievement by organisations, individuals and teams in driving company performance. It also recognises the pivotal role that sales play in creating a thriving UK economy.
James Marsden, Head of Sales Excellence at Aggregate Industries, comments on the achievement: “We are delighted to have been recognised as the Sales Support Team of the Year at this year’s BESMA Awards. Not only do these awards recognise the success of the RCC concept and those working in the Sales Admin, Inside Sales, Customer Service and Logistics teams but also the hard work and dedication of the teams who implemented them.
