Alumasc WMS Drainage Centre of Excellence adds Gatic Slotdrain to portfolio

  • 1 May 2019

The Alumasc WMS Drainage Centre of Excellence has announced it will add Gatic Slotdrain to its portfolio from July 2019.

The Drainage Centre of Excellence provides a space for contractors, architects and specifiers to gather vital insights and question experts on the full capabilities of the AlumascWMS product range.

The addition of Gatic Slotdrain means the Centre will now facilitate two market leading business in Wade and Gatic Slotdrain and the business increases its focus toward offering a single source drainage solution for the entire building envelope.

The move also means Gatic’s Slotdrain operations will be relocated from their Dover site to the AWMS facility in Halstead, Essex.

Managing Director at Alumasc Drainage Businesses, Simon Hipgrave, comments on the move: “We’ve made a significant investment of £750,000 in new and existing machinery to improve capacity and efficiency of both Wade and Gatic operations. The Dover site will still be the hub for Gatic Covers and remain very much operational. The support teams for the Gatic Drainage range, however, will be situated at the Halstead site in Essex. We will also be undergoing an internal team reshuffle to make sure that our customers receive an increased level of service and support on a regional and national basis. The announcements for this will come in due course.”
