The Gilgen SLX-M RC3 automatic sliding door system was assessed by UKAS approved EXOVA Warrington Fire, who translated existing test evidence to support conformity to PAS 24.
Commercial buildings with a high risk of break-in or attack, such as banks and jewellers, require an entrance that is both secure and welcoming to customers.
The Gilgen SLX-M RC2-3 automatic doors feature slim aluminium profiles which offer a design that is both strong and invitingly transparent.
In addition, the automatic locking, reinforced safety glass and flush bottom guide rails help ensure effective break-in protection without loss of appearance.
The security doors also fulfil the latest series of European break-in prevention standards EN 1627 – EN 1630 and is fully tested to DIN 18650.
The system is available with single or bi-parting sliding doors and can be attached to the door lintel or wall.
It is configured with a wide range of options including glazed overhead panels, a variety of surface finishes and a choice of door activation and safety elements.
Furthermore, a Fluveri’ multi-point locking mechanism integrated into the door leaf can also be selected to provide even higher levels of protection.
Gilgen Door Systems provides a complete range of entrance solutions designed to protect facilities from break-in or hostile attack.
The range includes steel security doors, security grills and high security shutters to LPS1175 Level 5, meeting Police-Preferred Secured by Design’ standards.
