Automatic shower wash and dry toilet provides independence for users

  • 13 Oct 2014

The conventional WC has in-built washing and drying, whilst the shower and washbasin can be adjusted in height and positioned both left and right along the wall for easy access.

When users apply hand or body pressure on the flush pad or touch sensitive switch it triggers simultaneous flushing and douching followed by warm air drying, ensuring high levels of cleanliness for the user.

The washbasin is manually height adjustable and is mounted on a horizontal rail to allow for movement left and right, allowing room for a carer should a student need one.

Over 40,000 Clos-o-Mats have been sold since their introduction in the 1960s and can be found in domestic and commercial environments across the country, including several on the Jubilee Trust’s tall ships.

Clos-o-mat’s wall-hung version, the Lima Vita and height adjustable Lima Lift, are the only toilets of their kind manufactured in the UK alongside a range of accessories.
