  • 29 Mar 2023

Building Superstore, part of the UK’s largest online only builders’ merchant CMO Group PLC, expands its customer service team with the appointment of Graham Turner to the role of business development manager.

With over 30 years’ experience in the builders’ merchant industry, Graham brings with him extensive knowledge of the plumbing and heating market, as well as wider technical expertise to help customers find the solutions they need for a variety of different jobs.

As the latest member of the established customer service team, Graham’s appointment further strengthens Building Superstore as the ‘go-to’ supplier for building materials and supplies.

As part of the Building Superstore team, Graham will work closely with key customers as their dedicated account manager. This involves overseeing their orders from start to finish, providing technical guidance, finding cost-effective solutions to fit a range of budgets and identifying suitable alternative materials when necessary to avoid any potential disruptions or delays.

About Building Superstore

Building Superstore brings together all eight of CMO’s specialist superstores, including the new Plumbing Superstore, to provide trade contractors with everything they need to build and maintain a property.

This includes access to over 100,000 different products from some of the UK’s leading manufacturers. From roofing materials, insulation, doors, windows, tiles and floor covering, to heating systems, plumbing, sanitaryware, drainage and landscaping solutions, the breadth of Building Superstore’s range comes with the depth of the team’s technical knowledge and expertise.

Graham comments: “I am thrilled to have joined the Building Superstore team and to be able to put my skills to good use by helping customers find the best products for their projects at the best price.

“Although my background is within the plumbing industry, so much of the work we do here at Building Superstore is assisting customers with the full-property solution and it’s great to be able to help keep a project on track by identifying and supplying the mix of materials and solutions needed.”

Rob Martin, head of trade at Building Superstore, adds: “Graham has already proved to be a great asset to the Building Superstore team and as plumbing materials and supplies is a relatively new product offering for us, his specialist knowledge and experience have been instrumental in helping our customers find the right products for their projects.

“Graham’s appointment is also part of the wider development of the Building Superstore offering which is continuing to go from strength to strength as more builders and contractors enjoy the benefits and convenience of purchasing their suppliers online rather in store.”
