Each bungalow features a host of assistive features and fittings, including level access throughout, wheelchair-wide doors, an adjustable kitchen and a fully-accessible wetroom – each of which is equipped with a Clos-o-Mat Palma Vita automatic shower wash and dry toilet.

Each bungalow at Roeburn Way features a fully-accessible wetroom equipped with a Clos-o-Mat Palma Vita.

Clos-o-Mat Palma Vita

The Palma Vita’s toilet can be used as a conventional WC, however features integral douching and drying which enables the user to use the toilet without manually cleaning.

It is purpose designed to enable easy retro-fitting of accessories, to tailer the toilet to individual needs as requirements change over time.

Sharon Freed, Leazes Homes’ Investment Delivery Manager: “Roeburn Way has been specifically designed to allow people with physical disabilities to benefit from independent living, with the support of site staff if needed, in line with our strategy of focusing on development for people with special needs.”

“The Clos-o-Mats give flexibility of use and can be easily adapted, with accessories, with much less disruption than installing a conventional WC which may later have to be replaced with such assistive technology as a shower toilet.”
