Contour Heating delivered the supply of bespoke DeepClean radiator guards for the recently opened Early Years Centre in Bromsgrove, helping to create a safe and hygienic environment for children at this vital new specialist setting.
Following the success of a previous project at Chessgrove Park, part of the same nursery group, Contour was the first choice when the Woodland House Group sought a heating protection solution for its newly acquired site.
The project required a tailored approach to meet three key challenges: maintaining child safety and hygiene in a nursery environment, overcoming installation issues caused by existing electrical trunking, and working in line with a phased refurbishment and opening schedule.
To address these needs, Contour specified its robust DeepClean radiator guards featuring pencil-proof grilles, bullnose corners for enhanced safety, and easy access drop-down doors to support regular cleaning. Bespoke adjustments were made to the design, including tailored cut-outs to accommodate the placement of electrical trunking, ensuring a perfect fit without compromising structural integrity.
The project was delivered in three stages to match the phased redevelopment programme, allowing areas of the nursery to open safely as refurbishment progressed. The customer praised the installation process, describing it as ‘an incredibly easy process’, thanks to the careful design and clear guidance provided.
The Early Years Centre now benefits from a safer, more hygienic heating solution, with radiator guards designed specifically to meet the demanding needs of an early years environment. This project once again highlights Contour’s ability to deliver custom solutions that balance safety, practicality, and aesthetics, backed by exceptional customer service.
