Delta Membrane Systems Limited celebrated the official opening of its ‘Delta Pumps Distribution Hub’, a new 3,500 square foot Basement Drainage Warehouse and Distribution Hub, on Saturday 15 April.
Directors, Christopher Burbridge, David J. Symes, and Kevin Dodds provided guests with a warm welcome and treated guests to a ‘Behind the Scenes’ guided tour of the Harlow facility, witnessing what it takes to bring to life the Delta submersible pump range. Guests were treated to processes of the production facilities along with product demonstrations.
The experience included the development of Delta’s Basement Drainage Range, from the iconic 695 chamber to the Bespoke 800 range, and how all Delta chambers are compatible with the entire Delta V3, V4, V6 (groundwater) and V3 (foul water) pumps.
Following tours of the Delta Pumps Distribution Hub, guests were invited to sample ales at Redchurch Brewery, a local award-winning brewery, conveniently located a stone throw from the hub.
Guests enjoyed sampling ales from the Delta range and also took part in a pub quiz and a Grand National Sweepstake.
Kevin Dodds comments: “On behalf of the entire Delta team, I want to extend a warm thank you to everyone for attending the official opening of the Delta Pumps Distribution Hub. Your presence at our event made it even more special and we are grateful for your support.
“We believe that the insights shared, and the connections made will have a positive impact on our industry and improving standards.”
“I would also like to thank the Delta team who organised the event, ensuring it would be a great success.”
Fully staffed and operational, Delta’s Basement Drainage Hub has successfully dispatched 1000s of pumps, pump stations and related products from the Delta Basement Drainage range.
Delta’s Basement Drainage Distribution Hub is dedicated to basement drainage related products, from BBA Approved packaged pump stations, high water level alarms, control panels, battery backups to pipework and fittings, supporting the team’s ability to meet the growing demand for quality basement drainage items.
The facility has the capacity to process up to one hundred orders every day and will increase the company’s overall basement drainage processing capacity. Delta’s Basement Drainage Hub is strategically located close to Delta’s Head Office, meaning that later cut off times for collections can be provided.
In addition to the increased space, the warehouse features modern staff facilities, and a dedicated training and breakout space.
