Dickies have recently donated over 30 embroidered coveralls for the volunteers and staff at Wild Futures’ Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall.
The embroidered protective coveralls assist in keeping the monkey carers safe and clean.
The Monkey Sanctuary rescues monkeys from conditions of abuse and neglect, giving them a safe haven for life with large spacious enclosures, monkey companionship and specialist care.
The sanctuary currently holds 39 monkeys of three different species: capuchin, woolly and barbary macaques.
Claire Turnbull, Primate Welfare Team at Wild Futures, commented: “Thank you Dickies on behalf of the team here for your extremely generous donation. Our keeper teams were particularly excited when the coveralls arrived and it’s great to see everyone well protected for cleaning routines and proudly displaying our charity’s logo.
Much of our funding goes towards caring for the rescued monkeys at our Sanctuary, so we simply don’t have a budget for kitting everyone out in quality clothing, meaning your support is very much appreciated and really does make a big difference to our work.”
