Ellis launches e-learning platform for cable cleat distributors

  • 24 Oct 2016

Ellis has developed and launched an e-learning platform, which aims to enhance professional development and the understanding of cable cleats.

Ellis has made its UK-accredited CPD course, ‘Cable cleats: a device for short circuit protection’, available online, for the benefit of engineering professionals across the globe.

Although it has been running the CPD programme for a number of years, Ellis has identified several problems with its traditional offline approach. Restrictions in terms of location and time mean that many professionals are unable to gain access to the information and accreditation presented.

E-learning with Ellis

The company’s e-learning platform has thus been designed to make the CPD readily available to its distributors, who operate in over 30 countries worldwide.

The online learning platform enables Ellis to educate on the importance of cable cleats in these different markets, whilst simultaneously supplementing its distributors’ professional development.

The CPD offers guidance to the use of cable cleat, and useful technical insight.
