Stannah announces the launch of the Midilift PL, a traditional compact platform lift with a screw and nut drive. The drive enables the PL platform lift range to have low headroom and no separate machine cabinet requirements.
If you’re looking to purchase a cost-effective and compact platform lift to solve mobility needs in a commercial or public building or to future-proof a home, these new lifts are perfect.
Mark Chapman, General Manager of the Platform Lifts and Microlift Division, says: “The screw-driven system is an excellent addition to our vertical lift portfolio, offering a smooth drive and quiet solution with low headroom requirements and no machine room. Of course, whilst keeping the flexibility of a hydraulic platform lift with our CL and CLS ranges.”
The introduction of the Midilift PL completes Stannah’s new vertical platform lift range line-up, with the launch of the Midilift CL and CLS cabin platform lifts taking place two months ago.
The latest Midilifts offer a comprehensive range of finishes, so you’re sure to find a model that blends into your interior design and offer an additional 2-year warranty for complete aftercare peace of mind.
Over the years, Stannah has supplied more than 11,000 wheelchair access lifts to provide easy access for all passengers, wheelchair users and mobility impaired nationwide, from health care and education establishments to retail, offices and public buildings. With more than 150 years of lift expertise and specialising in disabled access lifts in the UK – you can rely on Stannah.
Mark adds: “We won’t forget our much-loved Midilift SL, Plus and Piccolo models and will continue to support the product in the field and our existing orders. But our new vertical platform lifts enable us to give wider flexibility in sizes, finishes, options and drive types that customers are looking for, and I’m sure they, like us, will be delighted with these new ranges.”
