Farm building benefits from durable rooflight system

  • 16 Mar 2015

The cows at Ryalls Farm will benefit from the natural lighting provided by Brett Martin’s Farmlite GRP rooflight system

The 700 square metre building benefited from the installation of 52 rooflights, which were fitted in four lines of 13 across the length of the roof.

The system was spaced out to allow a maximum amount of natural light to enter the building.

The rooflights have been manufactured to include dual action UV surface protection and UV resistant resins which work to reduce the effects of weathering.

Because of this, the rooflights should stay clear for around 20 years, ensuring that there is no decrease in light transmission over the years.

They should also retain their ability to withstand the elements and remain strong for a number of years.

Brett Martin has manufactured its Farmlite rooflight system in compliance with the UK’s environmental regulations to ensure that it is an eco-friendly solution.
