  • 4 May 2016

Mark Burns has been appointed the new Northern Regional Sales Director for Fernox, the manufacturer of chemical water treatments and filters.

Mark has 35 years of experience within the domestic heating market, having first worked as a heating engineer before progressing into a variety of account manager roles with Vaillant and Sales Director at Glow-worm.

As the new Northern Regional Sales Director, Mark will be responsible for the growing sales team in the North of England. He will be tasked with expanding the business in the region, including facilitating technical specifications on large projects in both the public and private sector.

Mark commented that he was ‘thrilled to join a well respected and leading brand in the domestic heating market’. He said:

“When my career began as a professional heating engineer – I always used Fernox chemical water treatments to keep central heating systems clean and working efficiently.

Now, I am looking forward to my responsibilities as Sales Director at the company I was an advocate of in my own work. I will be helping the experienced Fernox team to educate the market on the significant impact its chemicals and filters can have on energy efficiency and the longterm protection of boilers.”
