Fire-rated Fibo panels draw HAs at Housing Show

  • 11 Jul 2019

Fibo UK attracted a lot of interest at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s annual conference and exhibition at Manchester last month with its new designs and Class 1 fire rated panels.

Scott Beattie, Fibo’s Managing Director, explains: “This was our third consecutive year exhibiting at CIH and it’s a great venue to catch up with existing customers and meet new prospects. We had a very positive response from both to our Class 1 fire rated panel range, which includes tile-effect and seamless options. They’re ideal for projects that require higher performance.”

Five times quicker to fit than tiles, Fibo’s bathroom and kitchen wall panels come with a 15-year guarantee and are used across the UK in social housing (with free trials for landlords), student accommodation and retirement homes. Fibo panels also featured in displays showing bathrooms adapted for the elderly and disabled on the ProCare and Blackwood Housing Group stands at the CIH show.

Scott adds: “Our new marble panels and solid colour tile-effect designs also went down well. Because Fibo panels are quicker to fit and don’t need the skilled labour required by traditional tiling, housing providers can offer residents on-trend, ‘higher-end’ looks cost-effectively. Fibo’s new accessories – including two hybrid-polymer sealants in white and grey and a powerful adhesive – complete the package.”
