Flying Fibo hire new Regional Account Manager

  • 10 Jan 2018

Fibo UK has made another addition to its ever-expanding cohort, with acquisition of Jenny Gibson as Regional Account Manager for the North West.

Jenny brings a vast amount of years experience in both industry and sales to the role, having formerly worked as National Sales Manager at a plumbing supplies company.

The precision engineered wall panel manufacturer is encountering significant demand from contractors, builders’ merchants and local authorities for its unique bathroom and kitchen wall panels.

Fibo MD Scott Beattie has said the company’s long-lasting success is fuelling the investment in growing the workforce, especially in customer service and support.

“Last year was phenomenal for our business, which included winning a deal with Fortis, a major builders’ merchant buying group. However, it’s equally important that we can deliver the support our customers expect, so having more feet on the ground is logical and timely,” he said.

Jenny expressed her excitement at starting her new job and spoke about her exciting start to the post.

“I spent my first week at Fibo’s head office in Norway to learn about the products and see the manufacturing process first hand; a training session I’ll never forget!” she said.

“Fibo’s wall panels include a diverse range of laminate finishes, so no matter what your taste is there is a product to suit, from contemporary to traditional.

“The tile effect finish is unique to the market and it really catches people’s attention. Add to that Fibo’s Aqualock system and a 15 year guarantee and you really do wonder ‘Why Tile when you can Fibo’?

“To top it up, Fibo gives me all the support I need to showcase its range to its full potential and the marketing materials for customers are superb.

“I’m delighted to be part of a business that is definitely going places and look forward to developing great and longstanding relationships with customers.”
