Garador’s large stand at the recent National Homebuilding and Renovating Show drew record crowds – eager to learn about new technology and the latest design ideas for modern garage doors.
The Garador stand included a large range of full-sized garage doors to demonstrate some of the new styles and designs now available, and Garador’s team of experts were kept very busy throughout the show answering questions about everything from paint durability to special sizes.
Neil Discombe, Garador’s Managing Director, comments: “Technology and security were high on everyone’s agenda.
“Visitors to the stand were particularly interested in the latest electric operator technology for garage doors, including our ‘smart ready’ Series 4 GaraMatic operators which can be fully controlled using Android or iOS smart phones.”
Neil says there was also a lot of interest in environmental aspects and how choosing the right garage door can help reduce energy use.
Neil adds: “Some of the visitors to the stand were surprised when they learned about our highly insulated thermally efficient garage doors. This was an aspect many had not previously considered.”
The Garador stand also displayed their ultra-thermally efficient and secure FrontGuard front doors and these too attracted a lot of attention.
The Garador team helped both individual homeowners and also professionals in the building trade through the process of fitting requirements, sizing and product specification and, at the end of the show, found they had taken record orders.
Neil concludes: “Overall, after two difficult years, it was hard to predict on visitor numbers to the show. However, with 24,000 visitors over four days, it clearly worked very well and we were especially delighted with the success of our stand. Visitor numbers definitely exceeded all our expectations.”
