Gilberts enhance office building air aesthetics

  • 2 Feb 2016

Gilberts Blackpool is one of UK’s top independent air movement specialist and major manufacturer of grilles and louvres, providing design and supply of natural ventilation solutions for the public and commercial sectors.

Ceiling and sidewall linear diffusers

Gilberts offer enhanced office building air aesthetics by extending its range of ceiling and sidewall linear diffusers, adding a high capacity slot option.

Series HSL Units

  • wider standard slot width, achieves as much as 150l/s/m through two slots with a ceiling or wall cut-out of just 161mm
  • meets performance requirements and design considerations

Horizontal and vertical air distribution can be finitely controlled without draughts by independent positioning of the directional control vane in each of the slots.

  • comprehensive range of plenum boxes enables an easy, airtight connection of the diffusers to most commercial ventilation systems

Airflow through the Series HSL

Can be altered every 2m as standard. Insertion of blade cuts and spacer brackets enable alteration to be made at smaller intervals if required. Long runs can be achieved quickly and easily with an unbroken appearance via Gilberts’ concealed alignment feature.

In-plane and curved Series HSL units are also available as standard, with a range of border styles to integrate into popular ceiling types. A new plaster border option allows the outer frame to be completely plastered over and concealed so that almost nothing shows.

Gilberts Blackpool sales director Ian Rogers: “As the construction industry recovers, aesthetics are playing more of a part in component selection. Series HSL combines up to date styling and design technology. Gilberts has a reputation for its engineering design and quality, a reputation which is being supported by the benefits we are bringing to market with our new high capacity slot diffuser.”
