Mainmark has launched a series of free CPD seminars for construction and building specialists, ground engineers and property managers.
This is in a bid to help improve all-around industry knowledge of the latest technologies and solutions for ground engineering and property preservation.
Mainmark, an internationally recognised specialist in ground engineering and asset preservation, officially launched its UK division four years ago, bringing non-invasive and cost-effective solutions for foundation repairs and ground improvement to businesses and residential property owners across the country.
The business aims to help preserve assets in residential, industrial, commercial, civil engineering and infrastructure through a range of revolutionary products.
These include Teretek®, a proprietary hi-tech resin injection solution that can be used to re-level and re-support an existing structure with minimal intrusion or disruption, and JOG Computer-Controlled Grouting, an advanced cement grout system used to raise and re-level structures under precise computer control.
Its training programme for clients and business partners has been recognised by the CPD Certification Service.
Mainmark’s seminars now count towards the Continued Professional Development requirements in sectors such as construction, engineering and property and facilities management.
In the coming months, Mainmark is organising free seminars covering ‘Hi-tech solutions for ground stabilisation and re-levelling: Engineered resin injection and multi-point injection of cementitious grout’, held at the company’s UK head office in Buckinghamshire.
Other topics will include an ‘Introduction to Permeation Grouting & LPDG’ as well as an ‘Introduction to STRAAM (Structural Risk Assessment and Management)’. Customised on-site seminars and demonstrations are also available and can be organised on request by signing up here.
Robbie Blanchfield at Mainmark commented: “Our solutions are technically competent, less intrusive, minimise business disruption and are cost effective compared to traditional methods.
“We hope these seminars will be of enormous value to structural and civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, construction contractors, groundworks services, building and property maintenance, as well as loss adjustors and insurance companies.
“We are proud that our courses have been independently evaluated for Continuing Professional Development purposes by The CPD Certification Service.
“This means our courses comply with universally accepted principles of Continual Professional Development (CPD) and have been structured to meet the criteria of personal development plans.
“This enables us to contribute to raising industry standards and we welcome all specialists who wish to further their expertise through our seminars and on-site demonstrations.”
Sara Platten, Client Services Manager of the CPD Certification Service, commented: “CPD certified training means the learning activity has reached the required CPD standards and benchmarks and the learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality.”
Established in 1996, The CPD Certification Service is the independent CPD accreditation centre working across all sectors, disciplines and further learning applications.
Its experience and history working with training providers, professional bodies, academic institutions and corporate organisations enables the CPDCS to support organisations seeking authoritative accreditation for their CPD.
