Marmox Unveils Expanded Wetroom Range at InstallerSHOW 2025

  • 10 Jun 2025

Marmox, a well-established name in the wetroom and shower market, is heading to InstallerSHOW 2025 at the NEC Birmingham with a completely revamped range of wetroom products. With improvements geared towards simplifying installation, expanding choice, and adding long-term value for end users, the updated range will be on display at Stand 4D27 from 24 – 26 June.

At the heart of this year’s showcase will be Marmox’s reimagined Multiboard Showerlay range, now fully brought under the Multiboard family umbrella. This updated collection includes both centre and offset drain versions in several new sizes. Designed for speed, precision, and reliability, these trays are ideal for installers looking for a straightforward, high-performance wetroom solution.

One of the most noticeable changes is the new integrated centre drain, which has been developed with aesthetics and practicality in mind. In addition, installers and homeowners will be able to choose from a selection of coloured grate finishes, including stainless steel, white, and black. Additionally, each tray features a 100mm wide surplus fleece layer along the edges, allowing for seamless integration with adjacent floor or wall membranes during the tanking process.

The trays are built from high-density extruded polystyrene, providing dependable insulation and strength while remaining lightweight and easy to handle. Each one is pre-formed to ensure the correct falls are achieved, guiding water efficiently towards the new drain unit. Both faces of the tray are reinforced with a fibreglass mesh and coated in Marmox’s trusted cement-polymer mortar, delivering robust performance that suits both domestic and commercial environments.

Phasing out

As part of the product evolution, Marmox is streamlining the range by phasing out certain items, including the Minilay, Decotray and some of the smaller or less popular Showerlay dimensions. However, key sizes such as 900 x 1200mm and 1000 x 1000mm will remain, joined by several new variants to suit a wider range of bathroom layouts. All trays are easily trimmable, allowing installers to fine-tune them on site without compromising performance.

Looking ahead, Marmox has confirmed that new Linear Showerlay options will also be rolled – including options with the drain positioned on the width edge of the tray, where previously only available on the length edge – further broadening the offering for those working on premium wetroom designs where a linear drain is preferred.

Marmox Marketing Manager, Grant Terry, comments: “We’re really pleased with how the new wetroom product line has come together. We’ve taken on board a lot of feedback from our customers over the past year, and that’s directly shaped the direction of these improvements.

“The result is a much more versatile offering, including a brand-new drain design, more size options, and even new wetroom components. These are still very much Marmox products – built to the high standards we’re known for – and they provide real reassurance to installers, tilers, and homeowners alike.”

Even more additions

But it’s not just new Showerlays being added to the Multiboard range. Marmox is also expanding the range with stylish new features that align with modern bathroom trends. Two new tileable vanity basins are being introduced, both wall-mounted and supported by reinforced bars for added strength. Customers will be able to select either a point trap or a linear trap, depending on their preference and plumbing setup.

In addition, a floating tileable shelf is joining the range. Designed either to support a traditional basin sink or simply to act as a feature shelf for towels or toiletries, this accessory gives homeowners and designers more creative freedom when planning bathroom spaces.

With InstallerSHOW continuing to grow in influence and visitor numbers, Marmox’s expanded presence and fresh product direction are sure to attract attention from professionals across the sector. Whether you’re designing, installing, or specifying wetroom systems, the updated Multiboard range offers new options without sacrificing simplicity or reliability.
