New CPD discusses compliance with Water Regulations Advisory Scheme

  • 11 May 2015

Many of Hansgrohe’s products, such as its Raindance Select hand shower head, demonstrate compliance with WRAS

The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) is a certification mark that shows a certain product meets the requirements of the 1999 water regulations.

WRAS covers all plumbing systems, water fittings and water equipment from the public water supply: this includes bathroom fittings products.

Hansgrohe has over 800 WRAS approved products; compared to the UK market’s next closest bathroom fittings manufacturer, this is more than double the number of approvals

The company has invested over £2m to ensure that its collections and designs comply with the regulations.

Why WRAS?

In order to help others meet the scheme’s requirements, Hansgrohe has developed a core curriculum CPD about the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme.

The Axor Citterio collection also meets the requirements

The CPD has been developed to discuss the importance of complying with WRAS to ensure successful project specifications.

It also explores the risk of non-compliance, which can have implications across all the stakeholders.

Those who specify, design and select bathroom products can benefit from the CPD.

By booking a place, professionals can gain a simplified understanding of the WRAS selection in order to specify products correctly. Ultimately, this can save them time and money.
