Nortek prepared for European regulations

  • 18 Jan 2018

Warm air heaters and radiant heaters are both set to be affected by European Regulations, with minimum efficiencies now 72% and 74% respectively and Nortek are ready.

Vitally, these criteria are applicable for both new installations and in instance where they are replacing existing products, meaning customers are safe in the knowledge the heating equipment being purchased is extremely energy efficient and keeps harmful environmental pollutants to a minimum.

Nortek’s ErP compliant range features the extremely efficient RHeco series (above photo) of energy saving condensing gas red unit heaters, which have met this requirement for years and the PREEVA EC (heating and ventilation unit), providing combined heating and ventilation with optional cooling.

The RHeco range offers drastically lowered CO2 & NOx emissions, whilst the PREEVA EC (below photo) units come with a wide variety of heat outputs and cooling capacities.

The PREEVA EC’s design sees high thermal efficiency meet quality components, with the benefit ease of maintenance for enhanced life expectancy and reduced life cycle costs.
