RAVATHERM UK has announced a new addition to its sales team, with the appointment of Philip Hodges as new Business Development Manager for the West.
Philip (pictured) joins from distributor SIG and brings over three decades of experience in the construction industry to his role at the POLYFOAM™ XPS insulation manufacturer.
His career has seen him specialise in building materials, working in similar roles for companies including Kingspan and Knauf, as well as manufacturers of offsite construction products.
His new role will see him have responsibility for promoting awareness of the POLYFOAM™ XPS brand in the western region where, with a focus on the distributor market, he will build client relationships and identify new opportunities in the sector to drive sales.
Philip described it is an ‘exciting opportunity’ to boost both the profile of RAVATHERM UK and POLYFOAM™ XPS in a region where the company can see substantial opportunities for the business to thrive.
“I’m looking forward to working with my contacts to help promote the benefits of XPS insulation and support RAVATHERM UK to increase its market share,” he said.
Ian Exall, National Sales Manager for RAVATHERM UK, expressed his delight at the appointment news, with Philip’s extensive sales experience, contacts and specialist knowledge of the construction industry set to be ‘instrumental’ in helping the company further strengthen its presence in the West.
Philip becomes the second person to join RAVATHERM UK’s national sales team this year, as the company continues to growth; in January, Rob Firman was appointed Technical and Specification Manager.
