REHAU brightens new build property with TOTAL70 Window and Door System

  • 19 Sep 2018

REHAU was recently chosen to provide a splash of colour for a new build property in Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, with the installation of its TOTAL70 Window and Door System in Chartwell Green.

All profiles used for the project featured a Chartwell Green exterior using REHAU’s iconic foil finish system. The interior, however, was white to offer more flexibility for the decorating of the inside of the house.

The screens were made using box couplers, up to 6.6 metres high, which were used in the entrance of the property and offer great thermal performance and ease of fabrication.

Contractors, Tradeline Scotland, chose REHAU TOTAL70 profiles as they were a more practical and cost-effective alternative to aluminium on the development, delivering higher thermal efficiencies in line with requirements laid out by the property’s owner. With a chamfered or sculptured detail and matching single leg beads to provide easy but secure on-site glazing, the system was an ideal fit for the property owners requirements.

The REHAU TOTAL70 PVC-U profile is designed to meet the requirements of the new build, commercial and domestic refurbishment markets, but is also compatible with reversible windows, entrance doors, in-line tilt/slide patio doors and bi-fold doors and can be easily incorporated into conservatory designs.
